Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 3 chicken boullion cubes
  • 1 ½ spirals of vermicelli
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup rice
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon parsley flakes

Directions

Warm water and dissolve in the boullion cubes. Carefully brown the vermicelli in the butter, add the olive oil and spices, then mix in the hot water/boullion and add the rice. Simmer 20-40 minutes, as long as possible without sticking, and serve.
