• 2 ⅓ cup lentils, rinsed
  • 5 cups water
  • ½ cup unsulfured molasses
  • 2 tablespoons brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • ½ cup catsup
  • 1 teaspoon dry Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire Sauce
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions
  • ¼ teaspoon liquid Barbecue Smoke
  • (optional)


Add lentils to water in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 min or until tender but whole. Add remaining ingredients to the cooked lentils, and put into a baking dish and bake at 350∞ F for 45 min.

This is EXCELLENT!! This is probably one of the best lentil dishes I have ever made.
