Ingredients

  • 1 oz. dark rum
  • 1 oz. amber rum
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • ½ oz. Orgeat Syrup
  • cherry, pineapple or mint sprig, as a garnish

Directions

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker full of shaved ice. Shake vigorously, and strain. Add a sprig of fresh mint

Notes

The original Trader Vic formula from 1944 calls for specific ingredients that are hard to find. This is a good basic recipe, close to the original in spirit.
