Perfect with Csirke Paprikas

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup water

Directions

Stir the flour, salt and eggs together in a large bowl. Mix in the water a little at a time until a thick dough is achieved (the whole cup should not be necessary).

Place the dough on a hand-held cutting board, and cut small pieces off with a sharp knife into a large pot of boiling water. The pieces should be about half the size of your little finger. You will need to frequently dip the knife in hot water to keep the noodles from sticking. Cook the noodles for 10 minutes, and remove with a slotted spoon.

Notes

This basic recipe takes some time and patience, but is worth the effort.
