• 1-½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup oat bran
  • ¼ cup nonfat dry milk
  • ½ cup raisins
  • cup honey
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg


Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x9" pan. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients.

In a small saucepan, combine the honey, peanut butter, oil and vanilla extract. Stir the mixture well over low heat for a few moments, but do not let it get hot. Remove from heat, add the egg, and mix well. Add the mixture to the dry ingredients, and combine thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Pour into the baking pan, distribute evenly, and bake for 20 minutes.

Score into bars with a spatula, and let them cool in the pan. Invert the pan onto a plate, and cut through on the scoring to separate. Store in an airtight container.
