A quick and interesting addition to any barbecue

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 small red onion
  • canola oil

Directions

Mix the ingredients together, and bring to a simmer. Cover and let sit while you fix the burgers.

Serve on turkey burgers or beef hamburgers, on a bun with mayonnaise

Notes

Make sure your kitchen is well-ventilated. Any time you heat vinegar, it will create quite an impression on your kitchen!
